What potential! Karma Tibetan barley produced very tall and beautiful purple tinted plants with a dark grain containing hints of purple.
Although producing very few tillers, this barley grew exceptionally well in our micro-climate, reaching over 4’ tall with large seed heads.
Very easy to thresh with excellent plant uniformity as well. We’re very excited to continue to work with this landrace barley from Tibet in order to develop plants with more tillers and higher yields.
